This Privacy Policy describes how the AI Keyboard app ("the App") handles information. The App is provided by the developer ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
We do not collect, log, or receive:
When you tap a style button (Spell Check, Romantic, Professional, Chinese translation), the App reads the text currently in the active text field and sends it directly from your device to OpenRouter's API endpoint at https://openrouter.ai/api/v1/chat/completions. The transformed text is returned to the App and replaces the original text in the field.
This request is made over HTTPS and does not pass through our servers — we have no servers. The network connection is between your device and OpenRouter.
OpenRouter's handling of the request is governed by their own privacy policy: https://openrouter.ai/privacy. We encourage you to review it. OpenRouter in turn forwards requests to the underlying AI model provider (for example DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) according to the model you or we have selected.
The following information is stored locally on your device, inside iOS's sandboxed App Group container for the App (group.com.2026aikeyboard.app):
This data never leaves your device except as part of the direct API request described above. If you uninstall the App, this data is deleted by iOS. You can also clear it at any time by removing the API key in the App's settings screen.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of OpenRouter or the downstream AI model providers they route to.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since we do not collect information from anyone, this is automatically true, but users under 13 should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Because we do not collect data, there is no data for us to retain or delete. To remove any local data stored by the App, uninstall it from your device or clear the API key from the App's settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
